Force floating config placement #1215

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
With v12 the prop auto-position got deprecated and I'm unable to replicate the old behavior. I'd want to have the datepicker always open to the 'bottom' placement, but it seems like this gets overridden if the window size is not enough to accommodate the datepicker.
Describe the solution you'd like
Have a way to enforce that the placement is what you set it to without recalculations.

I've tried to use strategy 'fixed' to no success

Consider this 1280x580 resolution
I'd want the datepicker to always open to the bottom. By having it so, the page would become scrollable, as opposed to opening to the top, where you cant scroll
