What is the current behavior?

Hi,

I am using snowflake's local application oauth for my flask application. When I faced web popup everytime when the token request endpoint. Then I analysed whole code to check if any cache mechanism is available, then I found access_token cache are happening. But there is no refresh token cache. Please suggest or provide a resolution on this case. Thanks

Hello @SyedSR7 ,

At present, the Snowflake connector does not have a provision for renewing a connection by requesting a new access token using a refresh token. This is due to a security concern.

So, you can handle the OAuth token refresh process outside the Snowflake connector, then re-establish the connection with the new access token.
